Home Remedies For Grey Hair
1. Amla and Henna Pack
Take Henna leaves and grind it. Add Amla powder to it. Mix the ingredients and make the fresh paste. Apply this paste over the scalp and keep it undisturbed till it dries. Rinse the hair with running water. Continue this for a month.
Amla and henna work together as natural dyes. They are effective remedies that provide moisture and nourishment to hair.
2. Fresh Henna-black tea Paste
Take Fresh henna leave and soak in water overnight or henna powder in water for 8 hours. Apply this in the hair and allow it to dry. Boil the black tea leaves in water and steep it. Leave it to cool. Prepare the paste of henna. Once the tea is cooled, pour this to the henna paste. Add drops of lemon juice, stir it well until the mixture become uniform.
Apply the mixture onto your hair using a brush. Make sure if it is evenly applied and covers all grey hairs. Leave it undisturbed for an hour or until the henna paste is dried.
Apply this once a month.
Henna acts as a natural dye and helps to restore the pH balance in the scalp. It darkens the hair and also helps in normalizing the oil production in the scalp. The herb is rich in antifungal and antibacterial properties that destroy dandruff.
3. Coconut Oil with Lemon Juice
Mix the coconut oil with Lemon juice and stir it well. Once the mixture is uniform apply it to the scalp. Massage thoroughly to the scalp and till the tip of the hair. When the pack is dried wash off with running water.
This should be done twice weekly.
Coconut and lemon juice prevents further greying of hair. It delays greying by preserving the pigments in your hair follicle.
4. Curry Leaves with Coconut Oil
In a dry pan pour the coconut oil and when hot, add the curry leaves to it and boil. There will be a black residue formed. Keep it aside to cool. Once the oil is cooled, apply to the scalp and massage properly through the length of the hair. Keep it for one hour.
This can be repeated 2-3times a week.
Curry leaves are capable in restoring the melanin in your hair follicles which help to tackle greying. It improves overall scalp health and boosts hair growth.
5. Buttermilk processed with curry leaves
Take a bunch of curry leaves and clean it. Prepare a paste out of it and add it to buttermilk to make it a fine paste. Apply this paste to the hair and leave it until it dries.
Buttermilk is a good remedy which will soothe the scalp and prevents from greying of hair. Both the ingredients together are very effective in tackling the problems of hair
